Product Sales Intern

Duration: 6 Months

The Product Sales Intern will support the regional sales team in accelerating and increasing the growth of specific products or a group of products. This role provides hands-on experience in sales operations, market analysis, and strategic initiatives, offering the intern a comprehensive understanding of product sales and marketing strategies.

Success Metrics:

  • Assist in achieving sales targets (Revenue and GP) in dedicated regions for specific products.
  • Support the defined growth of Revenue and GP for designated customers/prospects within a defined timeframe.
  • Participate in creating and aligning G2M (Go-to-Market) strategies with HQ.
  • Aid in the creation and alignment of target pipelines (acquisition and cross-sell) with the sales team and HQ.
  • Track and update main action points and milestones for reaching sales targets.
  • Actively participate in identified client projects, ensuring timely delivery and meeting project goals and KPIs.

Main Responsibilities:

Sales Support:

  • Assist in achieving sales targets for designated account lists.
  • Support the execution of regional and product G2M strategies.
  • Aid in driving product adoption in the region, increasing opportunity closing rates through product knowledge.

Market Analysis:

  • Help define and develop effective go-to-market strategies and customer segmentations.
  • Gather and communicate client feedback about market opportunities and challenges to the sales team and HQ.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the sales team and HQ to build strong relationships.
  • Assist in detecting key areas of growth and developing strategies to exploit these opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers to align on key priorities and initiatives.
  • Keep the team updated on major product features or new releases.

Reporting and Feedback:

  • Participate in regular syncs with HQ to share regional product feedback and insights.
  • Assist in monitoring and reporting pipeline creation, velocity, and conversion rates.
  • Support in identifying and removing roadblocks by partnering with HQ and regional roles.

Marketing and Communication:

  • Work with the marketing team to highlight product wins and create positive social proof.
  • Contribute to creating social media content and campaigns to promote products and engage with customers.
