We are seeking a talented and experienced Data Engineer proficient in cloud computing to join our team as a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our data infrastructure and pipelines. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, develop robust data solutions, and ensure data integrity and availability

Key Responsibilities:

Translate business requirements into analytics solutions ranging from data storage, ETL (extract/transform/load), and data modeling for business consumption i.e. APIs, EventStreaming, etc.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes
Responsible to support and enhance enterprise data platforms
Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to understand data needs and implement effective data solutions
Implement data quality and validation processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency
Optimize and tune data pipelines for performance and efficiency
Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Research and evaluate new technologies and tools to enhance data processing capabilities
Work in Agile framework and ceremonies with PM/SM and ensure systems meet business requirements and industry practices

Requirements-

Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role, with 5-7 years relevant experience.
Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, Pyspark and Big data.
Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases

Preferred: Knowledge of pharma industry, experience with cloud computing services (AWS, Azure).
