We are seeking a talented and experienced Data Engineer proficient in cloud computing to join our team as a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our data infrastructure and pipelines. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, develop robust data solutions, and ensure data integrity and availability

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate business requirements into analytics solutions ranging from data storage, ETL (extract/transform/load), and data modeling for business consumption i.e. APIs, EventStreaming, etc.
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes
  • Responsible to support and enhance enterprise data platforms
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to understand data needs and implement effective data solutions
  • Implement data quality and validation processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency
  • Optimize and tune data pipelines for performance and efficiency
  • Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Research and evaluate new technologies and tools to enhance data processing capabilities
  • Work in Agile framework and ceremonies with PM/SM and ensure systems meet business requirements and industry practices

Requirements-

  • Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role, with 5-7 years relevant experience.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, Pyspark and Big data.
  • Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
  • Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases

Preferred: Knowledge of pharma industry, experience with cloud computing services (AWS, Azure).
