Lead liquidity risk initiatives in banking, ensure compliance with regulations, manage projects with cross-functional teams, and prepare documentation.
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead liquidity risk initiatives within the banking and financial services sector. The candidate must have strong knowledge of regulatory liquidity frameworks and hands-on experience managing risk or compliance-related transformation projects. Fluency in Vietnamese and English is required to support cross-border stakeholder communication.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end delivery of liquidity risk/projects including planning, execution, governance, and reporting.
- Collaborate closely with Risk, Finance, Treasury, and Technology teams across Vietnam and regional offices.
- Implement enhancements to liquidity risk management frameworks, processes, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as LCR, NSFR, IRRBB and local supervisory standards.
- Identify project risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies to ensure on-time delivery.
- Prepare project documentation: business requirements, UAT plans, progress updates, and senior management reporting.
- Manage change requests and ensure alignment with transformation roadmap and business objectives.
- Facilitate workshops and communication with Vietnamese stakeholders..
Requirements
Experience Level: 6+ years
Languages: Vietnamese & English (Both Mandatory)
- 6–10+ years of Project Management experience in Banking, Liquidity Risk, Treasury Risk, or Risk Transformation.
- Strong understanding of liquidity risk metrics and regulatory frameworks (LCR, NSFR, ALM, ICAAP, Basel standards).
- Previous experience delivering risk systems such as Moody’s RiskAuthority, QRM, Murex, or similar is an added advantage.
- Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and presentation skills.
- Fluent in Vietnamese and English (written and verbal).
- PMP/Prince2 or Agile certification is a plus.
