About The Job:
The Project Manager - Technical is responsible for working with minimal instruction to prioritise work and meet deadlines. This role exercises good judgment to resolve moderately complex project-related issues that impact own area. The role manages and leads project workstreams, supports cross-functional projects, and provides project management expertise to deliver projects on time and within scope. Lead and manage multiple concurrent project workstreams with minimal supervision, developing and executing strategic plans to meet objectives, scope, and sprint goals. Identify and resolve moderately complex project-related issues and risks that impact project success. Lead project planning and coordination activities, working closely with project stakeholders to define project scope and objectives and provide forecasting information. Prepare and present project status updates, identifying risks and providing recommendations to mitigate them.
Ensure compliance with project management standards, methodologies, and tools. Serve as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment and effective communication. Build and maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholders to promote project success and buy-in.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior project team members, fostering professional development.
What Will You Do:
• Participation in customer’s projects activities related to Cloud Infrastructure projects
• Understand Customer and Product functional and technical requirements
• Understand how Cloud Products integrate into our customer’s environment
• Understand customization requirements that the customer might need.
• You define the global technical part of Project Management Plans.
• You define an end-to-end integration strategy & coordinates involvement of integration teams.
• You validate and approve the global technical part of Project Management Plans.
• You are supporting Red Hat CI organization in making sure that project is delivered, in terms of quality, schedule and content in line with the Project Management Plan.
• You identify deliverables under your responsibility. You plan & execute these deliverables taking care of cost & milestones
• Assistance as consultant in customer’s presentations, documentation, and workshops
• Manage customer technical requests and regularly update customer and project stakeholders on progress
What Will You Bring:
• Vast experience in (senior) project, cost & risk management, based on PMBOK
• Technical and hands-on practical knowledge on project management of cloud infrastructure projects.
• Additional certifications, such as PMP certification, are a plus
• Strong fundamental concepts and experience on Containers, Kubernetes and Microservices
• Knowledge and experience on CBIS, NCS and NCP products is a plus
• Expertise in Network Functions Virtualization Infrastructure (NFVI) and concepts linked with virtualization experience is a must.
• Expertise in Cloud Management Systems, Virtual Infrastructure Management systems and Cloud Infrastructure Management Systems is required.

• Being a quick learner, you are flexible in taking up different roles and tackling different technologies

Key qualifications for the role:
You have a Telecommunications/Electronics/SW/Computer master’s degree or equivalent through experience
Experience and background in infrastructure, system and IT (Linux servers, Virtualization, External Storage Solutions
Experience in L2,L3 networking (configuring and designing at high and low level)
Expertise in NFV, SDN and Cloud concepts linked with virtualization practical experience is needed
Expertise in Cloud Management Systems, Virtual Infrastructure Management systems and Cloud Infrastructure Management Systems is required
Knowledge and/or experience on CBIS, NCS, and NRHO is a plus.
Expertise in HEAT/HOT, Ansible, Mistral concepts is a plus
Technical knowledge on OpenStack, Kubernetes, OpenShift, RHEL is key.
Expertise in Containers, Kubernetes and Microservices concepts
