The Client Experience team plays a pivotal role in collaborating with business development and account managers throughout the client’s journey. As one of the most substantial divisions at FE fundinfo, the Client Experience department is tasked with the effective execution of projects within the company’s portfolio. Encompassing client support, data support, GFRS, managed services and the client success team, our objective is to provide unparalleled client service. The function of Client Experience is to guarantee that our clients receive the utmost value and satisfaction from our products and services.

As a Project Quality Team Lead you will be responsible for overseeing the Test Phases within projects that are being tested by your Project Quality Team direct reports; thereby ensuring that the client is provided the highest quality assurance. 

The role will also form part of an operating model for existing services provided to clients.  As a Project Quality Team Leader, you will have a strong Test Management knowledge and will be able to provide support to Project Managers and the Project Quality Team to ensure the highest quality in Integration and System Testing.

Your key responsibilities as a Project Quality Team Lead will be to:

• Assist with the preparation of project test plans that outlines the test objectives, schedule, deliverables, test environment setup and resource allocation. It serves as a blueprint for the testing activities and ensures that the team follows a structured approach.
• Collaborate with the test team and project team to create test scenarios and cases that cover all the possible functionalities and requirements of the configured application. They ensure that the test cases are comprehensive and effective and adhere to the test strategy.
• Review test artefacts, such as test cases, test scripts and test data, to ensure their quality, consistency and adherence to the test strategy and plan.
• Oversee the execution of test cases, ensuring that the testing process follows the test plan and that the team addresses issues promptly, monitor testing progress and provide regular updates to Project Managers and management.
• Consolidate and analyse the findings and prepare comprehensive test reports. These reports highlight the defects found, their severity and the overall quality of the configured application.
• Track and manage defects using a defect tracking system, liaising with developers to resolve defects promptly.
• Assess the effectiveness of the testing process, identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance the quality and efficiency of the testing activities.

To join us as a Project Quality Team Lead you will need the following experience and skills:

• At least 3 years of experience with test management or similar
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to work with data effectively to ensure quality testing
• Experience with project processes and procedures
• Experience with analysing and compiling data for reporting purposes
• Good technical knowledge/background
• People management experience highly preferred
• Experience in the fintech/financial services industry beneficial but not crucial
