Develop and maintain Appium + WebdriverIO (JS/TS) mobile automation suites for Android and iOS. Build and run regression and end-to-end tests, validate REST APIs, integrate tests into CI/CD, analyze results and report defects, and collaborate with Dev, QA, and Product teams in Agile sprints.
We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer – Mobile with strong experience in mobile automation using Appium with WebdriverIO (JavaScript or TypeScript). The candidate should have hands-on experience in regression testing, API validation, and CI/CD integration for Android and iOS applications.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain mobile automation test scripts using Appium with WebdriverIO (JS/TS)
- Design and execute automated regression test suites for Android and iOS apps
- Perform end-to-end (E2E) testing for mobile applications
- Validate mobile app APIs using Postman or automation frameworks
- Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines
- Analyze test results and prepare defect reports
- Collaborate with Dev, QA, and Product teams
- Participate in sprint planning and review meetings
- Execute cross-device and cross-platform testing
Mandatory Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Mobile Automation (Appium)
- Experience using WebdriverIO with JavaScript or TypeScript
- Good understanding of Mobile automation framework design
- Knowledge of Android and iOS platforms
- Experience in Regression Testing
- Knowledge of API testing (REST APIs)
- Understanding of Git version control
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment
Good To Have
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
- Knowledge of test reporting tools (Allure, HTML reports)
- Experience with real device testing platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs)
- Basic understanding of SQL queries
- Experience with performance or accessibility testing for mobile apps
