Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer to lead our quality assurance initiatives. In this role, you will design and implement comprehensive test automation strategies, mentor junior QA team members, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. Your expertise will be pivotal in enhancing our testing frameworks and driving continuous improvement in our QA processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain robust test automation frameworks for web and mobile applications.
- Design, implement, and execute automated test cases for functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous learning.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with developers to resolve issues promptly.
- Continuously evaluate and improve testing tools, processes, and methodologies.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in QA automation, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Extensive experience with automation tools like Selenium, Appium, or similar.
- Familiarity with test frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and version control systems like Git.
- Knowledge of SQL and experience with database testing.
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead a team in a remote environment.
- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Certifications in QA or test automation (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE).
