Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Engineers to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our product meets the highest standards of quality and reliability in the Windows Platform. You will work closely with software engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define testing requirements, develop test plans, and execute tests to ensure that our software performs as expected.

 

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define testing requirements and create test plans

• Create tests to identify potential issues in the product in Windows environment

• Install and run the executable file (service app) in different Windows devices and multiple OS versions, and test them

• Execute manual and automated tests as per requirements to identify and diagnose software issues

• Monitor and analyze test results to ensure that our product is performing as expected

• Report defects and work with software engineers to resolve them

• Continuously improve our testing processes and tools to enhance the quality of our product

 

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or any related fields

• 2-5 years of professional experience in software testing in Windows environment

• In-depth understanding of Windows Platform like OS internals, drivers, etc.

• Strong knowledge of how user activities, processes, kernel and memory management work in Windows OS

• Experience in working with Windows Service apps

• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes

• Strong logical reasoning and problem-solving skills

• Experience in mobile/desktop application testing

• Experience with developing and maintaining automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Appium, or Playwright

• Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle and Agile methodologies

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Passionate about applications, gadgets, and other technological happenings
