JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer with exposure to Manual Testing and Automation Testing using Playwright. The ideal candidate will have experience working in Agile projects, proficiency in JavaScript or Python, and a strong   understanding of STLC activities.  You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing test cases, identifying and documenting bugs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality  and  reliability  of our products.           

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Test Design & Execution

  • Design, implement, and execute test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements.

  • Ensure timely execution of test cases and report results.

  • Identify, document, and track bugs through Jira.

Test Automation & Framework Development

  • Develop and maintain reusable, scalable, and efficient test automation frameworks.           

  • Write and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.       

Collaboration & Communication

  • Interface with product owners, designers, marketers, and development teams. 

  • Effectively communicate testing progress, issues, and risks to stakeholders.     

Process Evaluation & Improvement

  • Continuously evaluate the testing process and recommend improvements.        

  • Ensure CX/UX/UI consistency across web applications.

Risk Management

•     Proactively identify and raise risks to stakeholders in a timely manner.

REQUIRED SKILLS: Education

•    B-Tech, B.E, M-Tech, MCA, or an equivalent degree from a reputed college/university.

•    0-1 year of experience in testing.

Testing Expertise

  • Exposure to Manual Testing.         

  • Ability to write reusable code and develop/maintain test automation frameworks.       

  • Experience with Jira for STLC activities.

Soft Skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.             

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Experience in JavaScript, TypeScript or Python.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions or Jenkins.

  • Experience with Microsoft Account for Agile/Cloud-based web applications.  

  • Knowledge of tools such as TestNG, Apache POI, Cucumber, and third-party reporting tools.      

  • Experience with SOAP/REST API Automation. 

  • Knowledge of GIT for version control.
