The QA Engineer will design and execute test plans for web applications and APIs, perform various types of testing, and collaborate with development teams.
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer with 3-4 years of experience to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in API testing and database testing, with a passion for ensuring software quality and reliability across our products.

Job Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web applications, APIs, and database systems (Testing & Quality Assurance)
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing across multiple platforms
- Conduct thorough API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar frameworks
- Execute database testing including data validation, CRUD operations, triggers, and stored procedures
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools
- Collaborate with development teams to reproduce and resolve issues
- Design and implement automated API test suites using tools such as Postman (API Testing)
- Validate API responses, status codes, headers, and payload structures
- Perform end-to-end API testing including authentication, authorization, and error handling scenarios
- Test RESTful and SOAP web services across different environments
- Create and maintain API documentation and test data sets
- Validate database operations including data integrity, consistency, and accuracy (Database Testing)
- Write and execute complex SQL queries for data validation and verification
- Test database triggers, stored procedures, functions, and views
- Perform data migration testing and database performance testing
- Ensure proper database security and access controls
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using frameworks like Playwright, Selenium using java (Automation & Tools)
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Maintain test environments and test data management
Basic Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Proficient in SQL and database concepts (MySQL, PostgreSQL or SQL Server)
- Experience with API testing and REST web services
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java and automation tool(Playwright)
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
