Lead performance testing strategy and execution for large-scale B2B/B2C web platforms in automotive. Own test strategy, mentor a team, translate non-functional requirements into performance goals, review results, and drive optimization with architects, developers, and DevOps. Serve as primary customer performance contact.
We are looking for a Lead Performance Test Engineer with 8+ years of experience to own performance testing strategy and execution for large-scale B2B and B2C web platforms in the automotive domain. This role requires strong hands-on performance testing expertise along with the ability to lead teams and engage directly with customer stakeholders.
What You Will Do
- Define and own the overall performance testing strategy across programs
- Lead and mentor a team of performance test engineers
- Act as the primary performance testing point of contact for customer stakeholders
- Translate business and non-functional requirements into clear performance goals
- Review test results and guide teams on performance optimization and improvements
- Work closely with architects, developers, and DevOps teams to identify and resolve bottlenecks
What We Are Looking For
- 10–12+ years of experience in performance testing with strong hands-on expertise
- Proven experience in a Lead / Manager role managing performance testing teams
- Strong hands-on experience scripting performance tests using k6 and JavaScript
- Deep understanding of performance testing concepts, methodologies, and metrics
- Experience defining performance strategies for complex enterprise systems
- Ability to communicate clearly with senior customer and engineering stakeholders
