Job Title: Performance Test Lead
Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Performance Test Lead to drive the adoption and implementation of performance testing practices across multiple application development teams. This role will serve as a shared capability, supporting various projects in defining, executing, and reporting on performance testing activities. The ideal candidate will bring strong industry experience, a deep understanding of performance testing concepts, and the ability to guide teams in establishing formal processes and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead performance testing efforts across a portfolio of applications, supporting multiple development teams.
- Establish and formalize performance testing processes from scripting to execution and reporting.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and Business stakeholders to define Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) aligned with industry standards.
- Deliver performance testing services for projects, ensuring scalability, reliability, and responsiveness of applications.
- Provide guidance and best practices on performance test strategy and execution.
- Support the adoption and usage of performance testing tools and platforms, including JMeter and BlazeMeter.
- Partner with the Performance Testing Architect to align tooling and architectural decisions.
- Educate and mentor teams on performance testing concepts and methodologies.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in performance testing across web and mobile applications.
- Strong knowledge of performance testing strategies and concepts.
- Hands-on experience with JMeter and familiarity with BlazeMeter.
- Ability to define and interpret Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across cross-functional teams.
- Experience working in agile environments and supporting multiple concurrent projects.
Preferred Skills:
- Exposure to other performance testing tools and platforms.
- Experience in cloud-based performance testing environments.
- Familiarity with CI/CD integration for performance testing.
