Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled QA Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications through both manual and automated testing processes. The ideal candidate should have experience in both manual and automation testing, as well as a strong understanding of software development processes.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and execute test plans and test cases for software applications
- Perform manual testing of applications to identify bugs and defects
- Develop and maintain automated test suites using industry-standard tools and frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software defects and issues
- Work with developers to understand and resolve defects in a timely manner
- Participate in code review and team knowledge sharing sessions
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software testing and development
- Continuously improve the testing process to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of testing efforts
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing, including experience in both manual and automated testing
- Experience with industry-standard automated testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber
- Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (such as Java, Python, or JavaScript)
- Familiarity with software development processes and methodologies (such as Agile or Waterfall)
- Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with mobile testing (iOS and Android)
- Knowledge of cloud-based testing tools such as Sauce Labs or BrowserStack
- Experience with load testing and performance testing
- Knowledge of security testing and best practices
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
