What you’ll do

• Provide guidance to IT design and architecture in IT projects to ensure non-functional requirements and detailed solutions meet project objectives and are delivered as per specifications. 

• Work with project management teams to validate solution deployment approaches for new implementations, including hardware, application requirements, upgrades, cut-over strategies and steady-state processes.

• Ensure that overall testing methodologies are aligned with business and technology growth requirements - implement changes as needed. 

• Perform technical/business reviews and approval of proposals for new products and new clients. 

• Coordinate capacity and performance reviews for all platforms.

What experience you need 

• BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field

• 7+ years of software testing experience 

• Worked with SREs and dev teams to define and maintain SLA, SLO, SLIs meeting quality engineering standards

• Collaborated with the architects, SRE leads and other technical leadership on strategic technical direction, guidelines, and best practices

• Created and delivered technical presentations to internal and external technical and non-technical stakeholders communicating with clarity and precision, and present complex information in a concise format that is audience appropriate

• Experience in delivering solutions for complex business problems through software and standard SDLC processes

• Experience of working with strong technical teams that deliver complex software solutions that scale

• Troubleshooting skills with the ability to lead and solve test tool issues

• Strong experience in software testing and public cloud like GCP and/or AWS is preferred

• Cloud Certification Strongly Preferred

• Quality Control - Coordinate capacity and performance reviews for all platforms; Define key measurements/metrics to quantify and benchmark QE effectiveness, adjusting processes for continuous improvement; Review quality section of Production Readiness Review for accuracy and completeness

• Quality Focus - Perform technical/business reviews and approval of proposals for new products and new clients; Ensure communications are thorough and accurate for all work documentation including status and project updates; Represent our QE practices and strategy in customer conversations and other stakeholder conversation

• Risk Mitigation - Work with Product Owners, QE and development team leads to track and determine prioritization of defects fixes.
