Develop and enhance automated testing scripts; create test plans and cases; configure test beds; execute and document functional, integration, regression, performance, interoperability, and system tests; investigate issues through reproduction and debugging with developers; report results, update quality metrics, and improve testing strategies.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge and expertise in scripting languages and contribute to the development and enhancement of test automation scripts
- Proficient in creating, modifying, and reviewing test plans and test cases
- Efficiently set up test beds tailored to specific test plans and scenarios
- Execute test cases meticulously, identifying, documenting, and reporting issues
- Provide detailed test execution results and update the metrics by contributing to the continuous improvement of product quality
- Collaborate closely with developers to identify the RCA for the issues by reproduction and joint debugging (as appropriate)
- Contribute to the evolution and implementation of automated testing strategies
Requirements
- Proficiency in scripting languages, specifically Python or Bash
- Knowledge and experience with test automation frameworks – pyATS, Cypress, Robot Frameworks
- Experience with API based testing, UI Automation
- Solid understanding of technology / protocols for domains - WLAN (802.11), Networking, Embedded, IoT
- Proficient with traffic generation / analyzer tools such as Ixia/Veriwave, IPerf, Octoscope, LANforge, Wireshark etc.,
- Exposure to various testing – Functional / Feature, UT/IT, System Integration, Regression, Sanity, Scale, Performance, Interoperability
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work seamlessly with developers and engineers
- Bachelor’s Engineering degree in Electronics, Computer Science or a related field
