About Measured

Measured is the pioneer and leader of incrementality-based media measurement and optimization. Since 2017, leading brands have used our AI-powered, all-in-one platform to manage, test, plan, and optimize over $35 billion in full-funnel media investments. Measured’s unique combination of automated experimentation, media mix modeling, and industry-leading expertise helps marketers prove the incremental impact of their advertising and maximize ROI with unmatched ease, accuracy, and efficiency.

The Role

The Quality Assurance Manager will own and elevate software quality across our media measurement platform. This role blends hands-on testing, test strategy, and people/process leadership. You’ll partner closely with Engineering, Product, and Data teams to ensure we ship reliable, scalable, and accurate software—critical in a measurement-driven business where trust and precision matter.

This is a builder role: you’ll strengthen and scale our QA practices as the company grows.

RequirementsQuality Strategy & Execution
  • Define and own the end-to-end QA strategy across web applications, APIs, and data pipelines
  • Establish quality standards, testing frameworks, and release criteria aligned with business risk
  • Ensure appropriate coverage across manual, automated, regression, performance, and integration testing
  •  Embed QA early in the SDLC (requirements, design reviews, sprint planning) and drive defect prevention practices, not just detection.
Test Automation & Tooling
  • Drive adoption and expansion of automated testing (unit, integration, E2E).
  • Select, implement, and maintain QA tools and frameworks that scale with the platform.
  • Partner with Engineering to improve testability, observability, and CI/CD quality gates.
  • Monitor test results, flaky tests, and quality metrics; continuously improve signal vs noise.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
  • Manage, mentor, and grow the QA team as a player coach.
  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Customer teams.
  • Advocate for quality-first decision making while balancing speed and delivery commitments.
  • Help teams adopt best practices in defect prevention, not just detection.
Release & Risk Management
  • Own release readiness and go/no-go decisions from a quality perspective.
  • Identify and communicate quality risks clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Lead post-release reviews, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Ensure production issues are triaged, learned from, and prevented going forward.
SaaS Data & Measurement Quality
  • Define and maintain data-quality checks for measurement outputs (consistency, reconciliation, freshness, and correctness of core metrics).
  • Validate accuracy, consistency, and reliability of measurement outputs and data pipelines.
  • Partner with Data and Analytics teams to test data integrity, experiments, and reporting logic.
  • Ensure quality practices support customer trust in metrics, insights, and dashboards.
Ideal Experience
  • 8+ years in QA, Test Engineering, or Software Quality roles.
  • Experience testing complex SaaS platforms (APIs, data-heavy systems, modern web apps).
  • Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and CI/CD workflows.
  • Comfortable working in agile, fast-moving startup environments.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence without heavy process.
What Success Looks Like (6–12 Months)
  • Clear, trusted QA processes embedded in engineering workflows.
  • Improved release confidence and reduced production issues.
  • Strong automation coverage and meaningful quality metrics.
  • QA seen as a strategic partner, not a gatekeeper.
  • A scalable foundation for quality as the product and team grow.

Benefits
  • 100% Remote
  • Total Rewards - Compelling compensation packages that include flexible time off, regional paid holidays, and regional health and wellness plans where available .
  • Social Engagement - virtual engagement, knowledge sharing, and more.
  • Giving Back - Opportunities to volunteer and impact our communities through Measured for Good initiatives.
  • Culture - Integrity, diversity, and award winning technology.

Measured values curiosity, integrity, aiming for the extraordinary,  customer obsession, and employee belonging.

What you need to know about the Chennai Tech Scene

To locals, it's no secret that South India is leading the charge in big data infrastructure. While the environmental impact of data centers has long been a concern, emerging hubs like Chennai are favored by companies seeking ready access to renewable energy resources, which provide more sustainable and cost-effective solutions. As a result, Chennai, along with neighboring Bengaluru and Hyderabad, is poised for significant growth, with a projected 65 percent increase in data center capacity over the next decade.
