About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager
In this role, you will:
- Manage a team of Quality Assurance Analysts
- Ensure standards are created and maintained including creation of approaches and plans to correct problems
- Ensure corrective action and change management of issues requiring improvement or redesign
- Direct the performance of analyses on budget, products, processes, or programs
- Assist with program development, including framework and measurement of effectiveness
- Ensure the establishment of root cause and development of comprehensive reports and recommendations
- Conduct routine to moderately complex research of the business, including monitoring methodology, quality scorecards, and comprehensive reporting
- Assist with development of service level agreements and other departmental initiatives, such as technology or reporting improvements
- Assist with branch or office inspection program development, including procedures, measurement of effectiveness, and key process changes
- Coach staff to ensure resolution of complex issues where expertise is required to interpret and administer policies, guidelines or processes
- Conduct routine to moderately complex research of the business, including monitoring methodology, quality scorecards, and comprehensive reporting
- Provide oversight in daily operations
- Establish effective relationships with peers, partners, and business and support function leaders to ensure effective collaboration, policy development, and compliance
- Partner with offshore partners to ensure execution meets our business needs
- Represent the department on broader initiatives
- Establish effective relationships with peers, partners, and business leaders to ensure effective collaboration
- Ensure effective communication strategy and adherence to company and unit policies, procedures and practices
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Quality Assurance
- Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Quality Assurance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 2+ years of Leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Change Implementation/QA Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 2+ years of Leadership experience
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, JIRA, ALM (or any other test management tool)
- Good to have IVR or Banking domain experience\Wholesale operations
- Ability to implement a solution and communicate, in clear business terms, the benefits of the proposed risk management approach
- Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment
- Ability to interact with integrity and a high level of professionalism with all levels of team members and management
- Ability to create and improve process through strategic thinking
- Testing experience
- Quality Control experience
Job Expectations:
- Quality Assurance Analysts who perform in-line review of numerous business processes.
- Analyze control performance, solve problems and make recommendations for business process enhancements based upon identification and understanding of opportunities.
- Engage with external law firms to understand the external regulatory and operating environment, and act upon these learnings to improve control performance.
- Produce and deliver routine report-outs, identify and align to bank best practices and regularly present results to various stakeholders.
- May participate in audits, exams or reviews of the department or its business processes. May participate or lead in special projects and change initiatives as necessary.
