Title: Performance Testing Manager

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As the Performance Testing QA Lead/Manager in Professional Services, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing the performance QA testing efforts for a Cloud Native environment. You will work closely with project teams and stakeholders to design, create and execute performance test plans/test approaches and communicate test results with stakeholders and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and create performance test plans and approaches, including load, stress, endurance and scalability tests.

  • Develop and implement performance testing strategies and methodologies, with a strong focus on utilizing JMeter and other relevant tools.

  • Define performance testing objectives, goals, and KPIs.

  • Champion the automation of performance testing processes to ensure rapid and reliable testing of cloud-based products.

  • Serve as the subject matter expert in performance testing tools and techniques, particularly JMeter.

  • Oversee the design and execution of performance tests, including load, stress, and scalability testing, while leveraging JMeter expertise.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement within the performance testing team.

  • Work closely with the Performance QA team. Ensure that the team follows the testing standards, guidelines, and testing methodology as specified in the testing approach.

  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers.

  • Act as a thought leader by providing guidance and mentorship to team members and sharing insights with the broader organization.

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of performance testing processes, test plans, and results.

  • Prepare and present regular performance testing results to stakeholders.

WHAT YOU’VE DONE:

  • Proven experience of 10+ years in performance testing and engineering, with a strong background in using performance testing tools, especially JMeter and Azure Load Testing.

  • Previous experience in a leadership role.

  • Experience in leading performance testing.

  • Experience/knowledge of software development life cycle, especially Azure DevOps.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across geographically dispersed teams.

  • Experience using and managing defect-tracking systems.

  • Experience with implementation of Duck Creek solutions for Policy/Billing/Claims desired.

  • Experience with testing cloud-based products and services.

  • Base Perf DB Creation - Must Have

  • Foglight - Nice to Have

  • Grafana - Nice to Have

  • Memory Dump and Thread level reports - Nice to have

  • Database Maintenance and optimization - Nice to Have

  • Identify Environmental Issues - Nice to Have

  • Loadbalancer knowledge - Nice to Have

  • Browser Developer tools and utility - Nice to Have

  • Fiddler - Nice to Have

  • POC of Perf tools - Nice to Have
