Job Overview
Are you a motivated person who values quality assurance and software development? At BlackRock, we present a remarkable opportunity to become part of a lively, highly committed team focused on delivering world-class solutions. As a Quality Engineer, you will have an important responsibility in maintaining the top quality and dependability of our software products.
You will be responsible for performing comprehensive Quality Assurance (QA) activities, including end-to-end testing. Your duties will range from analyzing project requirements to thoroughly testing tasks, ensuring effective automation, integration within CI/CD pipelines, and successful software releases.
Responsibilities
Develop, refine, and validate Test Cases that meet User Story acceptance criteria.
Coordinate testing activities across both Business and QA teams.
Collaborate closely with software engineers, including developers and fellow QAs.
Complete manual and automated testing processes, crafting TypeScript scripts for TeamCity pipeline inclusion.
Apply Playwright TypeScript and Cucumber for test automation.
Conduct API testing and work proactively with the development team from early stages.
Apply knowledge of AI and demonstrate interest in AI implementation within QA processes.
Perform basic performance and load testing using JMeter.
Ensure all software releases, both legacy and new developments, align with detailed business expectations.
Qualifications
Proficiency in TypeScript, Playwright, TeamCity (4 to 7 years of experience).
Experience with SQL queries, MongoDB, Snowflake, AWS, and related technologies.
Demonstrated passion for identifying and resolving software issues.
Solid understanding of API development and testing methodologies.
Ability to excel in a dynamic environment, adjust to shifting demands, and consistently grow.

Our hybrid work model
BlackRock’s hybrid work model is designed to enable a culture of collaboration and apprenticeship that enriches the experience of our employees, while supporting flexibility for all. Employees are currently required to work at least 4 days in the office per week, with the flexibility to work from home 1 day a week. Some business groups may require more time in the office due to their roles and responsibilities.
