AlphaGrep is a quantitative trading and investment firm founded in 2010. We are one of the largest firms by trading volume on Indian exchanges and have significant market share on several large global exchanges as well. We use a disciplined and systematic quantitative approach to identify factors that consistently generate alpha. These factors are then coupled with our proprietary ultra-low latency trading systems and robust risk management to develop trading strategies across asset classes (equities, commodities, currencies, fixed income) that trade on global exchanges.

Role Overview
As a C++ Quant Developer, you will be responsible for developing, and maintaining a high-performance, low-latency trading system. You will also be in charge of trading operations for our system, on which we will provide training for. You will work closely with the portfolio manager and quantitative researchers and to implement efficient algorithms that can handle large datasets, optimize performance. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in linux system, python and C++ developments. Quantitative finance knowledge is not required but would be nice to have.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain our current high-frequency trading system (C++).
  • Perform trading system performance monitoring and routine trading operations
    (Python, bash).
  • Developing and maintaining simulation framework (C++).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in C++ programming, particularly in high-performance,
    multi-threaded applications. Proficient in modern C++ (at least C++11, 17 preferred).
  • Proficient in Python.
  • Proficient with Linux environments and tools like GDB.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and precision in work.
  • Dedicated work ethics with a commitment to consistently delivering high-quality
    solutions.

Nice to Have

  • Prior work experience on high frequency quant trading system;
  • Knowledge of crypto market;
  • Websocket, restful API;
  • Quantitative modeling skills/ Mathematics (Advanced linear algebra, probability
    theory and etc)
