As the lead for our India Entry Level Recruiting efforts, you will be the strategic face of Cloudflare at top universities across the country.
You will own the end-to-end strategy for hiring of our 2026 intern cohort, bridging the gap between academic potential and professional excellence. You won't just fill positions; you will identify and court the future architects of the internet, ensuring they have an exceptional candidate experience from their first interaction on campus to their first day in the office.

Responsibilities
- Strategy & Planning: Design and execute the India campus hiring strategy for the Class of 2026, including selecting target universities, defining hiring targets, and setting timelines.
- Full-Cycle Recruiting: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for interns and new graduates-from resume screening and online assessments to coordinating interview drives and extending offers.
- Stakeholder Management: Partner closely with hiring managers and engineering leadership in Bangalore to understand technical requirements and ensure interview panels are calibrated and prepared.
- Campus Relations: Cultivate strong, year-round relationships with university placement officers, faculty, and student bodies to position Cloudflare as a Day 0 / Day 1 employer of choice.
- Brand Building: Plan and execute engaging campus events, including pre-placement talks, tech showcases, and hackathons, ensuring strong brand recall among students.
- Candidate Experience: Champion a "candidate-first" approach, ensuring every student-regardless of the outcome-has a transparent, respectful, and positive interaction with Cloudflare.
- Data & Reporting: Track key university recruiting metrics (offer acceptance rates, diversity mix, pass-through rates) to continuously optimize the hiring funnel.
Desirable Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

- Experience: Minimum of 4+ years of recruiting experience, with a dedicated focus on University/Campus recruiting in the India market.
- Industry Background: Must have prior experience working within Product/SaaS/Tech companies. You understand the nuances of hiring for high-bar engineering roles (System Design, Distributed Systems, Security).
- Operational Excellence: Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume hiring drives without compromising on quality or candidate experience.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; you can command a room during a pre-placement talk and negotiate effectively with stakeholders.
- Tooling: Proficiency with modern Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) like Greenhouse or Lever, and university hiring platforms (e.g., HackerRank, CodeSignal).
- Agility: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where priorities can shift; you are a self-starter who takes ownership.
