Reference Data Automation Analyst

Job Description
Be part of a team that drives process transformation, automation, and digitization to optimize operations and reduce risk.
As an Analyst within the Reference Data Management Team, you will analyze processes in their current state and identify opportunities for improvement and automation. You will enhance and automate business processes to improve STP rates and minimize manual data exceptions.
Job Responsibilities

• Analyze processes and identify improvement opportunities.
• Enhance and automate business processes.
• Drive process automation projects throughout the lifecycle.
• Build and maintain solutions using Python, UiPath, Alteryx, etc.
• Ensure solutions are reviewed from risk perspectives.
• Become an SME across data towers for consumer queries.
• Improve processes and data quality through root cause analysis.
• Research data issues and route to relevant parties.
• Collaborate with technology and product teams for releases.
• Maintain inventory of vendor data incidents and resolutions.
• Ensure SOPs are updated to reduce risks.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Hold a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Data Science, AI, or Data Analytics.
• Have at least 3 years of experience in Financial Services.
• Must have hands-on experience with automation tools like Python, UiPath, etc.
• Experience in querying large databases using SQL.
• Proficiency in analyzing large data sets in Excel.
• Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Exposure to financial products in wealth management and private banking.
• Familiar with process improvement methodologies like Lean or Six Sigma.
• Ability to think strategically with respect to data and technology.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Self-starter with strong time management skills.
• Familiar with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall SDLC concepts and experience in producing PowerPoint presentations for senior audiences.
