The Regional Business Manager, South 2 (Tamilnadu & Kerala) for Beckman Coulter Diagnostic is responsible for driving both primary and secondary revenue for territories part of South India. This is a people management role, responsible for leading Sales team to drive profitable business growth, create winning environment, improve health of the business and develop people. The position is responsible for strategic initiatives and developing long term business plans and people development. You would be tasked for working with an effective team, that works across the country with clients. The role will be responsible for building client relationship, developing plans to ensure client engagement at all levels. This position is key to cross functional alignment and would also be a key partner to Govt. business, Automation and Microbiology heads. Prior experience of people management, the ability to build high performing teams and experience of managing large deals would make you the ideal fit for this role.

This position is part of the commercial team located in Chennai and will be on site. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

You will be a part of the commercial team and report to the Sales Head. You will be responsible for managing the business of South 2 (Tamil Nadu & Kerala) region. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • A Driving value selling culture at all levels through innovative selling approach along with a culture of voice of Dignity, Candor, and Transparency throughout the region.
  • Define overall sales strategy for the region, including long-term and short-term plans, effective metrics to track progress and rewards programs to drive sustainable growth.
  • Achieve annual business plan, defined by sales revenue, market share gain, revenue growth over previous year and standard margin improvement for the region and Increase profitability of existing accounts by analyzing product and service portfolios and optimizing price points or product mix.
  • Leverage national or regional resources such as Marketing, Government sales, Corporate and Enterprise sales, etc. to achieve annual business plan.
  • Use Sales Force (SFDC) and Sales Analytics for funnel management, customer segment, product and country performance assessment.
  • Client engagement through distributor as well as in-direct teams such as service and marketing.
  • Manage, engage and motivate a team of frontline sales officers.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:.

  • Experience – 10+ years of minimum experience in Business management in healthcare organization and Experience in people-management is a must.
  • Proven track record of being able to work under time pressure and in a lean organization.
  • Ability to create and enforce process discipline, deliver results and drive change and travel – this position will require travel within the country for external client/ internal team meetings and outside the country for any strategic or functional meetings.
  • Ability to effectively and seamlessly work in cross-functional teams and matrices, effectively delegate as well as take control depending on the on-ground situation
