Regional Marketing Manager

About the role

Navitas is looking for a performance-driven and accomplished Regional Marketing Manager (Greater China) for one of our esteemed university partners, Griffith University. Based in China, this role will lead student recruitment and conversion initiatives across Greater China and Mongolia, build strong stakeholder relationships, drive strategic recruitment activities, and identify opportunities to strengthen Griffith University's presence in the region. Working closely with the Regional Director (Greater China and Mongolia), the position requires regular travel and a passion for delivering outstanding recruitment outcomes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Drive marketing and student recruitment strategies across Greater China and Mongolia to achieve ambitious growth and internationalization objectives.
  • Cultivate high-value relationships with education agents, institutional partners, and key stakeholders to expand Griffith University's reach and reputation.
  • Lead agent engagement, training, performance management, and conversion initiatives to maximise enrolment outcomes.
  • Partner with agents, prospective students, and internal teams to enhance enquiry management, offer conversion, and enrolment success across multiple recruitment channels.
  • Represent Griffith University at recruitment events, exhibitions, seminars, and partner engagements, acting as a strong brand ambassador in the region.
  • Identify emerging market opportunities, analyse industry trends, and deliver strategic insights to support sustainable growth.
  • Collaborate with Academic Groups and professional staff to strengthen recruitment, partnership development, and international engagement initiatives

Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree with experience in student recruitment, marketing, business development, or a related field.
  • Proven success in achieving student recruitment, conversion, and enrolment targets, ideally within the international education sector.
  • Strong ability to build and manage relationships with education agents, institutional partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with experience working across diverse cultures.
  • Solid understanding of the Australian higher education sector and international student recruitment landscape, particularly Greater China and Mongolia.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable, with the ability to manage competing priorities, travel regularly, and uphold university policies, procedures, and professional standards.

Duration

This is a fixed term role for 12 months.
