Mission:
The Regional IS Process Manager will develop a factory mindset by focusing on process optimization and efficiency at region level
Responsible for the continuous improvement of Information System (IS) processes within the region and works in consultation with the sites. They are responsible for optimizing work procedures while also ensuring the compliant application of internal control principles.
Promote, implement, and deploy tools, functionalities, best practices, SSC indicators, and standard processes of the Group's IS function to increase the productivity and performance of the IS Activities.
Examine and analyze work instructions and procedures for each SSC function and liaise with the sites
Standardize IS processes to anticipate growth in their area of responsibility. Propose improvements and comparative analyses with other Regions.
Implement productivity measures and the service level agreement with the sites and perform monthly monitoring of SSC/Regions performance.
Monitor and report on IS indicators via the validated roadmap and follow the implementation of the action plan
Responsibilities:
Efficiency and process optimization
Support others and encourage others to do the same (learn from each other, share best practices and lessons learned) within IS / IT community (region/globally); force Knowledge Sharing / Best-practices
Enable regular communication opportunities (e.g. email newsletter, webcast/town hall meetings) of IS / IT community within the region
Responsible for usage of common document management system / storage (e.g. share drives / templates)
Liaison with Group IS Process Manager to align regional with group standards and activities
Regular alignment/interaction with relevant Group IS, SSC Finance (e.g. Process Management), Regional IS Process Manager community and HR SSC/ND on trends and upcoming major developments
Continuous Improvement
Encouraging IS / IT organization within region to contribute to continuous improvement (e.g. via Improvement Proposal) and promote/praise good practices.
IS Service Management (tools & procedures)
Ensure usage of Valeo IS Incident Management (Red Alert / PDCA) for Level 1 & 2 IS / IT issues
Ensure standard changes are clearly defined, documented, and processes well followed and tracked properly. (ITIL: A pre-authorized change that is low risk, relatively common and follows a procedure or work instruction)
Ensure standards for Business requests are clearly defined & documented.
Project Governance / Framework
Define standards for business demand management (analysis, prioritization, categorization)
Orchestrate overall IS / IT project / program high-level overview within region (e.g. list of planned, ongoing, completed projects per year, quarter)
Define project governance and ensure standard methodology is being used
Standard project phases (including initiation, plan, design, build, test, GoLive)
Responsible for standard project initiation phase (e.g. simplified “business case” form?)
Ensure standard project roles included (e.g. default members per IS/IT area considering project size) across the IS / IT organization (e.g. Regional IS Manager, Regional IS Manager, Cybersecurity, external partners) and related business stakeholders (e.g. Controlling)
Ensure that support concept is in place after post-GoLive support phase
Promote usage of ISPM methodology as appropriate
