Register and maintain short-term rental permitting for Wander's portfolio of Vacation rentals. This role is a part of the Finance organization reporting to the VP of Finance.

Responsibilities:

  • Research requirements for short-term rentals in various jurisdictions

  • File necessary documentation for registering new rental properties

  • Coordinating safety and related inspections

  • Ensuring ongoing compliance by managing preparation and remittance of regular filings and renewals

  • Maintaining checklists for short-term rental permit requirements

  • Maintaining an accurate calendar of all permitting due dates and executing on renewals timely

  • File zoning, building and related code information and application forms

  • Process permit applications, ensuring accuracy and completeness

  • Prepare, maintain and store records

Requirements:

  • Ability to work on a schedule of Monday-Friday 9-5 EST 

  • Highly organized

  • Strong time management to ensure all filing and renewal deadlines are met

  • Proficiency in Excel and Google Suite (Mail, Sheets, Drive, etc)

  • Strong work ethic

  • Self-disciplined and able to handle / prioritize multiple tasks independently 

  • Have a laptop

  • Have internet access at home (this job is remote)

  • Interest in long-term employment and career growth at a high growth tight-knit company

Even better if you have:

  • Experience with the hospitality industry, or more specifically short-term rentals

  • Permitting coordination experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field or four or more years of work experience.

  • Recent relevant experience (Recent grads welcome)
