Role Definition
Develops, designs, implements and tests software of Java/J2EE based application systems on cloud and on-Prem environments; monitors and enhances the efficiency and stability of the systems.
Responsibilities • Gathering and analyzing user/client requirements to create the software requirements specification (SRS) document. • Writing and implementing source codes of Java/J2EE based distributed systems in cloud & on-prem and enhancing code samples of existing systems. • Testing and debugging Java/J2EE based applications software using different tools/methods available to improve code quality and optimize system performance. • Collaborating with other teams to provide post production support. Complete design & code reviews of the application code developed • Requires a degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum.
Degree Requirement
• 7+ years of experience with BS/MS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering with relevant experience.

• Advanced proficiency in Java 8 or above
• Advanced experience in Spring framework, Spring Boot, Java Application Frameworks etc
• Experience with Tomcat 8.x or above
• Experience in Azure Devops and Azure Components
• Experience in Message Queues/Azure Topic
• Oracle 12 writing SQL and Stored Procedures
• Hibernate
• Web UI programming (Angular 8 +, JavaScript, XML, HTML, CSS, JSTL)
• Jersey/Jackson/OAuth2 Restful Web services
• M/V/C and Chain of Responsibility design patterns
• Should have strong interest/passion in doing hands on technical development . Worked on implementing complex solutions.
• Worked on complex Enterprise applications - involving webservices, message queues, Mobile UI's, Java Script, Java Application Frameworks etc - demonstrating role in addressing the complexity.
• Who has spent good amount of time in support/debugging type activities, so they have good analytical background.
• Who can demonstrate delivering quality application - testing skills.
Software Development: Knowledge of software development tools and activities; ability to produce software products or systems in line with product requirements.

Level Working Knowledge: • Supports the project leader in developing and executing system test plans. • Evaluates system documentation and user manuals for usability, accuracy and completeness. • Executes test cases, analyzes test results and reports on findings regularly. • Tests system components for compliance with functional requirements. • Participates in the testing of a system's ability to recover from hardware or software failures.
Technical Troubleshooting: Knowledge of technical troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques; ability to anticipate, recognize, and resolve technical issues on hardware, software, application or operation.
Level Working Knowledge: • Discovers, analyzes, and resolves hardware, software or application problems. • Works with vendor-specific diagnostic guides, tools and utilities. • Handles calls related to product features, applications, and compatibility standards. • Analyzes code, logs, and current systems as part of advanced troubleshooting. • Records and reports specific technical problems, solving processes and tools that have been used.
