As a Junior Engineman, you will assist the Chief Engineer with maintenance tasks, keep engine spaces secure and clean, and participate in safety compliance.

The Junior Engineman has duties as directed by Chief Engineer, these will primarily be washing and painting jobs, as well as participation in maintenance work.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- RCL places the highest value on the environment, and all employees shall do the same. Those assigned to this position shall work with superiors and subordinates to understand and comply with the company's environmental policies and be committed to safeguard the environment. He shall directly and immediately inform his immediate superior if any environmental system does not function properly.
- In general, they will keep the engine spaces safe, clean and tidy at all times.
- Participate in maintenance work, under supervision.
- Additional routines and work as assigned by Chief Engineer.
- Attends meetings, training activities, courses and all other work-related activities as required both on board and ashore.
- Performs related duties as required. This position description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the shipboard employee occupying this position. Shipboard employees will be required to perform any other job-related duties assigned by their supervisor or management.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Good level of English
- The Junior Engineman must hold the certificates required by the Flag State and he should have basic safety training before employment.
- Completion of one full contract with a performance rating of satisfactory or above.
- Ability to speak additional languages such as Spanish, French or German preferred.
- Minimum 21 years old
