S/4 HANA CDS & SAC Developer Role BAND Level: 6
Technical Requirements:
- Strong S/4 HANA CDS Data Modeling (Analytics) experience is a must.
- Hands-on experience with S/4HANA ABAP CDS development using SAP Hana Studio or Eclipse, including table joins, master data view associations, analytical views, and extensions using CDS includes.
- Experience in implementing custom CDS views and CDS analytical queries, CDS analytical modeling, CDS hierarchy, and AMDP development.
- BW4 HANA development experience is preferred.
- Senior SAC Application Designer with 3-4 years of good experience.
- JavaScript expertise is a mandatory
- Proficient in consuming pre-delivered (standard) APIs with the ability to build analytical applications.
- Basic knowledge of SAP BI objects, Webi, and BEX Query for consumption in SAC.
- Well-versed with SAC Tool and administration.
- SAP Lumira Application Designer knowledge is a good to have (preferable but optional if the above skills are strong).
- Good communication skills (spoken and written English) along with analytical skills.
- Great teammate who is eager to learn and deliver.
- SAP functional knowledge is a plus.
- Experience in gathering requirements and leading small developer teams.
Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze enhancement requests and transform them into solution designs compatible with existing development objects and design standards.
- Perform development and testing tasks within the context of larger projects, providing accurate estimates for these phases.
- Monitor the Thermo Fisher Helpdesk queue daily, assign work to team members, and ensure SLA compliance.
- Interact with customers who submit tickets for issues or enhancements, resolving issues promptly and proposing solutions with effort estimates to Thermo Fisher staff.
- Adhere to Thermo Fisher Change Control processes for handling change requests.
- Provide daily and weekly status reports for formal review with Thermo Fisher staff, discussing actions and timelines related to work you're doing.
