As we expand our presence in India, we're looking for an experienced sales professional who can drive our growth and establish TiDB as a leader in the database market.
Job Summary
We are seeking a high-energy, results-driven senior Account Executive with a proven track record in enterprise database sales to expand our customer base throughout India. The ideal candidate will have a hunter mentality, exceptional relationship-building skills, and the ability to navigate complex sales cycles with enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Aggressively build and maintain a robust sales pipeline across India
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through strategic prospecting
- Develop and execute territory sales strategies to exceed revenue targets
- Build and nurture relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers
- Collaborate with pre-sales, product, and marketing teams to create compelling solutions
- Represent TiDB at industry events, conferences, and user groups
- Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to help shape product roadmap

Requirements

- 8+ years of enterprise sales experience, with at least 5 years specifically selling database, data infrastructure, or related enterprise software solutions
- Proven hunter mentality with demonstrated ability to identify and capture new business
- Consistent record of exceeding sales targets and quotas
- A strong understanding of database technologies, cloud infrastructure, and data management challenges is highly preferred
- Experience selling to technical buyers (CIOs, CTOs, VP Engineering, Enterprise Architects)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with open-source software sales models
- Knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, or distributed database systems is highly preferred
- Prior experience at a database, cloud, or infrastructure company
- Experience working in a high-growth technology company
