Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Salesforce environments, ensuring platform stability, data integrity, and security.
- Manage user accounts, roles, profiles, permission sets, and data access controls.
- Build and optimize declarative automation (Flows, Approval Processes, Validation Rules, etc.) to streamline business processes.
- Support ongoing projects across Sales, CPQ, Billing, and Service functions by configuring and maintaining Salesforce solutions.
- Collaborate with architects and developers to translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce configurations.
- Assist in data management activities including imports, cleansing, deduplication, and quality monitoring.
- Support testing and deployment activities in coordination with development teams and release managers.
- Create and maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and operational runbooks.
- Deliver end-user training and promote Salesforce best practices across business units.
- Monitor system performance, proactively troubleshoot issues, and recommend improvements.
- Partner with the broader Business Applications team to support integrations, governance, and release management processes.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience, including Sales Cloud, CPQ, and/or Billing.
- Strong expertise in Salesforce configuration (Flows, Reports, Dashboards, Page Layouts, Record Types, Permission Sets).
- Proven ability to manage large-scale data and complex security models.
- Experience working within agile development or sprint-based environments.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to translate business needs into practical Salesforce solutions.
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Salesforce Certified Administrator and Advanced Administrator certifications required.
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting quote-to-cash, billing, or financial process automation within Salesforce.
- Familiarity with Salesforce CPQ, Billing, or Service Cloud.
- Understanding of integration concepts and tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, or REST APIs).

What you need to know about the Chennai Tech Scene
To locals, it's no secret that South India is leading the charge in big data infrastructure. While the environmental impact of data centers has long been a concern, emerging hubs like Chennai are favored by companies seeking ready access to renewable energy resources, which provide more sustainable and cost-effective solutions. As a result, Chennai, along with neighboring Bengaluru and Hyderabad, is poised for significant growth, with a projected 65 percent increase in data center capacity over the next decade.
