About Altraize

Altraize is building modern, scalable solutions on the Salesforce platform to help teams work smarter and deliver better customer experiences. We value clean engineering, thoughtful collaboration, and continuous learning.

Role Overview

As a Salesforce Developer at Altraize, you will design, build, and enhance Salesforce (SFDC) solutions across Sales Cloud/Service Cloud and custom applications. This role is ideal for early-career to mid-level developers (0–5 years) who enjoy solving business problems with well-structured Apex, Lightning, and platform best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain Salesforce features using Apex, SOQL/SOSL, Triggers, and Lightning Web Components (LWC)/Aura as needed

  • Implement declarative solutions where appropriate (Flows, validation rules, approval processes, page layouts) and extend with code when required

  • Design and build integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, platform events, and middleware patterns when applicable

  • Create and maintain unit tests, ensure code coverage, and follow secure coding and governor limit best practices

  • Participate in code reviews, refactoring, and performance optimization to improve reliability and maintainability

  • Support releases using change sets and/or CI/CD pipelines (e.g., SFDX), including sandbox management and deployment validation

  • Collaborate with admins, analysts, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical designs and working solutions

  • Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement preventive fixes

Required Skills
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce development (SFDC)

  • Apex programming, Triggers, and asynchronous processing concepts (Queueable/Future/Batch basics)

  • SOQL/SOSL and data modeling fundamentals (objects, relationships, sharing/security)

  • Lightning development exposure (LWC preferred) and understanding of Salesforce UI patterns

  • Strong debugging skills and familiarity with Salesforce logs and troubleshooting tools

  • Good understanding of Salesforce security model (profiles, permission sets, roles, sharing rules)

  • Clear communication and ability to work in a collaborative team environment

Good to Have
  • Experience with Salesforce Flows and best practices for declarative automation

  • Experience with integrations (REST APIs, OAuth, named credentials) and external systems

  • Familiarity with SFDX, Git, and CI/CD practices

  • Exposure to managed packages, AppExchange products, or multi-org environments

  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I) or active preparation

What Success Looks Like
  • Delivering high-quality Salesforce features that meet requirements and are easy to maintain

  • Writing well-tested Apex and LWC code that follows platform limits and security best practices

  • Reducing defects through proactive testing, code reviews, and clear documentation

  • Collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to ship improvements on time

What you need to know about the Chennai Tech Scene

To locals, it's no secret that South India is leading the charge in big data infrastructure. While the environmental impact of data centers has long been a concern, emerging hubs like Chennai are favored by companies seeking ready access to renewable energy resources, which provide more sustainable and cost-effective solutions. As a result, Chennai, along with neighboring Bengaluru and Hyderabad, is poised for significant growth, with a projected 65 percent increase in data center capacity over the next decade.
