Chennai, TNWe are looking for an experienced technologist who will function as a Salesforce Developer and will partner with other technology teams to extend Condé Nast’s Salesforce capabilities. The ideal candidate will translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions. The ideal candidate has good communication and people skills, likes working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, pays close attention to details, and can work with a diverse group of coworkers and stakeholders. The Salesforce Developer will be working within the team and will report directly to the Salesforce Solution Architect.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Developing Salesforce Lightning Components and using Visualforce to extend functionality to support business requirements.
Assisting with each Salesforce release cycle to review and implement new functionality.
System and unit testing and debugging
Developing and contributing to technical and end-user documentation of Salesforce environments and processes
Development of automation using Flows and Apex code
Tackling bugs and issues such as validation rules, Apex errors, and misfiring flows
Performing regular audits to assess data integrity and prepare for application maintenance activities
Monitoring and troubleshooting integrations for various third-party systems both off the shelf and proprietary
Participating in the evaluation of new projects to determine scope and estimated level of effort
Documenting business requirements, performing analysis, and contributing to the creation of user stories and test scenarios
Essential Skills & Requirements:
2 - 3 years of Salesforce development experience including Apex, LWC and Javascript
Competency in HTML, XML, SQL, Java, REST and SOAP-based web services
Practical experience in the use of leading engineering practices and principles
Solid experience with data collection, updates, analysis, and reporting
Salesforce Platform Developer Certification recommended but not required
Flexibility, adaptability, and initiative (i.e., willingness to support multiple projects in various time zones)
Appreciation for the Product and Design functions and working with those teams
Able to effectively communicate technical concepts to different audiences
Excellent written & verbal communication, problem solving, analytical and time management skills
Enjoy collaborating with teams to solve problems with creative, out-of-the-box thinking
Experience in engineering workflow on defect tracking tools like JIRA
