Job Description: Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud Developer

Position: Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud Developer (2 Positions)

Experience Level: Mid to Senior (4+ Years)

Type: Contract / Full-time (Initial 3–6 months, extendable based on project needs)

Location: Remote / Offshore

 

Job Overview

We are seeking two skilled Salesforce Developers with hands-on experience in Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud (LSC) or Health Cloud, and strong expertise in Vlocity/OmniStudio, to join our dynamic team. You will play a key role in building and configuring an Out-of-the-box Subscription Product (OSP) offering, accelerators, and demo environments for our Life Sciences Cloud practice. You will work closely with onshore architects and domain experts to deliver scalable, compliant, and industry-specific Salesforce solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, configure, and customize Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud or Health Cloud solutions based on business requirements.
  • Utilize Vlocity/OmniStudio tools (DataRaptors, Integration Procedures, Calculation Matrices, OmniScripts, FlexCards) to build industry-specific functionality.
  • Assist in building and documenting a reusable OSP (Out-of-the-box Subscription Product) offering for life sciences clients.
  • Develop accelerators and demo environments for key personas (Sales Rep, Key Account Manager, MSL).
  • Collaborate with onshore architects and business analysts to translate business use cases into technical user stories and configurations.
  • Participate in data modeling, object design, and integration with external systems (e.g., EHR, CRM data sources).
  • Follow Salesforce best practices for security, performance, and compliance (especially for life sciences/pharma domain).
  • Support the migration/cloning of OSP environments for new client onboarding.
  • Provide technical documentation and knowledge transfer to other team members.
 

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 4+ years of Salesforce development experience.
  • Must have: Hands-on experience with Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud or Salesforce Health Cloud.
  • Must have: Strong experience with Vlocity/OmniStudio (OmniScripts, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures, Calculation Matrices, FlexCards).
  • Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, and Flows.
  • Experience with Salesforce data model customization and integration (REST/SOAP APIs).
  • Understanding of life sciences/pharma commercial processes (HCP targeting, call planning, account management, KOL engagement) is a strong plus.
  • Salesforce certifications such as:
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I/II
  • Health Cloud Accredited Professional
  • Vlocity/OmniStudio Developer Certification
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a cross-functional, distributed team.
 

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with Agent Force or Field Service modules.
  • Knowledge of CLM (Contract Lifecycle Management) or CPQ in life sciences context.
  • Understanding of compliance needs (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, Sunshine Act).
  • Prior experience in building accelerators or reusable industry solutions.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
