We are thrilled to invite an experienced Salesforce Architect to join our team and embark on an engaging discovery journey. This role is pivotal in assisting a prominent financial services client in their service operations transformation. The successful candidate will take the lead in technical discovery, assess the current state, and architect a future-state solution leveraging Salesforce Service Cloud and its ecosystem. This is a remote contract opportunity with a duration of 6-7 weeks, commencing in May.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery across core systems, including mainframe, legacy workflow, and Salesforce, to understand the client's current ecosystem.
- Map integration touchpoints and analyze data flows to ensure a smooth migration process.
- Assess the existing Salesforce footprint and provide strategic recommendations for consolidation or separation.
- Design a tailored Service Cloud reference architecture suited to the client's specific business lines.
- Define an efficient Omni-Channel design, incorporating skills-based routing and optimized queue structures.
- Propose a unified interface to streamline interactions across multiple systems, enhancing user experience.
- Provide technical insights for legacy system decommission planning, ensuring a seamless transition.
- Estimate Salesforce licensing TCO and define technical roadmap dependencies for a phased implementation.
- Collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including business experts, IT leads, and integration teams, for accurate journey mapping.
- Present architecture options, trade-offs, and recommendations to client stakeholders, ensuring a successful transformation.
- 10+ years of experience as a Salesforce Architect or Technical Lead, with a proven track record in similar engagements.
- Extensive expertise in Salesforce Service Cloud, Omni-Channel, and Financial Services Cloud (FSC) is mandatory.
- Experience with Agentforce (bots, copilot) is highly desirable, offering a competitive edge.
- Proficiency in middleware integration, particularly MuleSoft or equivalent tools, is essential.
- In-depth knowledge of REST APIs and event-driven architectures is a must-have.
- Experience with legacy workflow tools and mainframe integrations is a strong plus.
- Domain expertise in financial services, especially Annuities, Life insurance, or Wealth Management, is preferred.
- Excellent discovery skills, including current-state mapping and gap analysis, are vital for this role.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholder groups, ensuring a cohesive team effort.
- Strong communication and presentation skills for client interactions, demonstrating a professional and confident approach.
