Role Overview:
As a Salesforce Technical Architect, you will serve as the technical authority for Salesforce-based solutions, responsible for designing, governing, and overseeing the delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performing Salesforce architectures. You will lead technical discovery, define end-to-end solution architecture across Salesforce clouds and integrations, and guide development teams to successful delivery. This role requires deep Salesforce platform expertise, strong client-facing skills, and the ability to translate business strategy into robust technical designs.
As a Salesforce Technical Architect you will be expected to work on multiple SF cloud including but not limited to Salesforce Lifesciences Cloud, Agentforce, Salesforce DataCloud, Salesforce Sales & Service Cloud.
What You'll Do

• Lead technical architecture and solution design for Salesforce implementations across multiple clouds and integrated systems
• Own end-to-end Salesforce architecture, including application design, data models, security, integrations, environments, and release strategy
• Lead technical discovery sessions with clients to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable Salesforce solutions
• Design and govern implementations using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura, Visualforce, APIs, and Salesforce configuration
• Architect and oversee integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Apex callouts, outbound messaging, middleware, ETL, and iPaaS tools
• Design scalable and reusable Lightning component frameworks aligned with Salesforce best practices
• Define data architecture, data migration strategies, and integration patterns when transitioning from legacy systems to Salesforce
• Create and review technical architecture documentation including architecture diagrams, data flows, integration designs, and deployment models
• Define environment strategy, CI/CD approach, and release management plans appropriate to project complexity
• Review code and technical designs to ensure quality, performance, security, and alignment with architectural standards
• Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, Developers, and client stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle
• Support pre-sales activities by contributing to solution scoping, technical estimates, and risk identification
• Identify, manage, and proactively mitigate technical risks and dependencies
• Mentor and guide Salesforce developers and contribute to the growth of the Salesforce practice
• Stay current on Salesforce product releases, architectural patterns, and emerging platform capabilities

What You'll Bring

• Deep expertise across the Salesforce platform, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and related technologies
• Strong hands-on experience with Apex, LWC, Aura, Visualforce, SLDS, and Salesforce APIs
• Proven experience designing enterprise-scale Salesforce architectures and cross-system integrations
• Strong understanding of SDLC, system design, security models, OAuth 2.0, REST/SOAP, and integration best practices
• Experience defining data models, integration strategies, and deployment architectures
• Ability to lead technical teams and communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments
• Ability to work effectively in a global, virtual, and client-facing environmen
• Fluency in English

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
• 6+ years of Salesforce experience or equivalent enterprise CRM development experience
• Advanced Salesforce certifications strongly preferred, including:
• Salesforce Administrator
• Platform Developer I & II (or JavaScript Developer I)
• Certified App Builder
• Sales Cloud / Service Cloud / Health Cloud (or other specialist certifications)
• Proven experience acting as a technical lead or architect on Salesforce implementations
