The Senior SAP BASIS Consultant is responsible for installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP systems, providing technical support, monitoring performance, and managing database administration tasks. The role involves collaborating with technical teams, supporting SAP implementations, and ensuring systems remain current through upgrades and patches.
Responsibilities

- Installation and configuration of SAP systems, including hardware and software setup.
- Maintain SAP landscapes, address issues, and provide technical support to users.
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and perform performance tuning.
- Manage database administration tasks (HANA, MYSQL, and Sybase), including space management, backup and recovery procedures, and performance tuning.
- Implement software upgrades and patches to ensure SAP systems remain current.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues within the SAP environment.
- Collaborate with other technical teams and functional consultants to support SAP implementations and enhancements.
- Support customers on RISE/HEC platforms.
- Apply knowledge of SAP BTP and public cloud environments.
- Provide 24/7 support, including availability for night shifts as required.
Edu. Qualification
- BE/B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Required).
- B. Com/B. Sc with relevant SAP BASIS experience (Optional).
- Postgraduate degree in a relevant field (Optional).
Essential Skills Job
- Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP BASIS administration.
- Expertise in installation and configuration of SAP systems.
- Proficiency in system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of database administration for HANA, MSSQL, and Sybase.
- Experience in implementing SAP upgrades and patches.
- Familiarity with SAP RISE/HEC platforms.
- Knowledge of SAP BTP and public cloud environments.
- Ability to prepare technical documentation and deliver user support.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Advanced).
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
- Availability to work in a 24/7 support environment, including night shifts.
