SAP Basis / Upgrade & Migration Consultant

The selected Partner will provide experienced resources capable of working autonomously on SAP migration programs. An SAP landscape will be migrated from on-premise environments to SAP Rise on AWS Cloud. The SAP S/4HANA landscape will undergo a version upgrade to the latest release combined with its migration to AWS via DMO (DMOVE2S4). The Partner must provide the necessary technical resources to execute migration, working independently while being fully integrated into the AWS team and collaborating with other partners such as SAP ECS and customer roles. Resources are expected to demonstrate experience in SAP S/4HANA upgrades and system migrations, proactive risk and dependency management, and an ability to deliver end-to-end with minimal supervision.  Assigning resources with experience in SAP RISE migrations and prior interactions with the SAP ECS teams is highly recommended.

ResponsibilitiesRole - SAP Basis / Upgrade & Migration Consultant 

The role, will work hand-to-hand  and will manage the hands-on upgrade and migration of an existing SAP S/4HANA Landscape to AWS, executed through a DMO-based process. The consultants will execute the combined upgrade and migration, ensuring system consistency, performance, and compliance with SAP best practices. They will work autonomously while maintaining strong coordination with the broader AWS technical team and functional application teams as required.

Required Skills:

• Experience with RiSe migrations, managing Private Cloud landscape and SAP ECS specific procedures

• Following training - SAP S/4HANA – Software Lifecycle Management is mandatory as per SAP requirements (ECS) to work on SAP RiSe migration projects and needs to be completed prior to on-boarding to the project team in case not completed already. Certification E_S4CON_2505 already fulfils the training requirement.

• 8+ years of experience in SAP Basis administration and landscape management.

• Proven participation in SAP upgrade projects with a leading role, including at least a full SAP S/4HANA upgrade project (release-to-release)

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP HANA Database  

• Advanced proficiency in SUM (Software Update Manager)

• UNIX/Linux administration and shell scripting skills

• Ability to identify dependencies, mitigate risks, and coordinate upgrade/migration tasks

• English fluency (spoken and written)

• Ability to work autonomously, identify dependencies, and anticipate requirements

• Desirable certifications related to the role, not mandatory but highly valuable (or any equivalent previous version):

• C_TADM70_22 SAP Certified Technology Associate - OS/DB Migration
