The SAP BTP Architect will design and implement scalable solutions on SAP BTP, focusing on data architecture, analytics, and cloud integrations while leading teams and ensuring security compliance.
We are seeking a highly experienced SAP BTP Architect to design, govern, and deliver scalable, secure, and enterprise-grade solutions on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). The role will focus on data, analytics, and cloud architecture leveraging SAP HANA Cloud, SAP Datasphere (DSP), and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) to enable real-time insights and intelligent enterprise use cases.
The architect will act as a technical authority, working closely with business stakeholders, SAP functional teams, data engineers, and cloud/security teams to define target-state architectures and ensure successful execution.
Key ResponsibilitiesArchitecture & Design- Define end-to-end SAP BTP architecture covering data, analytics, integration, and security layers
- Design cloud-native data architectures using SAP HANA Cloud and SAP Datasphere
- Establish enterprise analytics architecture using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for planning, reporting, and predictive analytics
- Create target, transition, and solution architectures aligned with enterprise standards
- Architect real-time and batch data pipelines across SAP and non-SAP systems
- Design semantic models, data products, and business layers in SAP Datasphere
- Enable advanced analytics and planning scenarios in SAC
- Ensure data governance, lineage, quality, and performance optimization
- Leverage core BTP services including Cloud Foundry / Kyma, Connectivity, Security, and Integration Suite
- Guide development teams on BTP application patterns, extensions, and best practices
- Drive clean-core and side-by-side extension strategies
- Design secure BTP landscapes aligned with enterprise and regulatory standards
- Implement role-based access, authentication, authorization, and data privacy controls
- Collaborate with security teams on audits and compliance (especially relevant for BFS)
- Act as technical lead and design authority for BTP initiatives
- Review solution designs, code, and architecture deliverables
- Mentor architects and senior developers
- Engage with SAP, system integrators, and vendors for roadmap alignment
