BW/4 HANA Developer Role BAND Level: 6
Technical Requirements:
- Proficient in SAP BW 7.x and BW/4 HANA, including aDSO’s, Transformations, AMDP’s, BAPI’s, Update Rules, Transfer Rules, DTP’s, InfoPackages, and Process Chains.
- Experienced with ECC and S/4HANA Data Extractors (e.g., SD, FI, COPA, MM), Logistics, CDS, change data capture, custom extractors, and Function Module extractors.
- Skilled in BW Queries, including RKF, CKF, and User Exit Variables, as well as BW/4HANA Calculation Views (CV’s).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, particularly in resolving data load issues.
- Proficient in ABAP, especially CMOD Advancements for extractors, Start Routines, End Routines, and Field Routines.
- Skilled in crafting solutions for running transitions and performing unit, integration, and performance tests.
- Experienced with SAP ECC Functional Models such as SD, MM, FI, and related tables and transactions
- Skilled at crafting test plans and technical specifications for improvement requests.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective customer interaction.
- Familiar with OSS and SDN Forums for issue research.
- Preferred knowledge of SAP ECC, CRM, and SCM systems.
- Experience with SAP Business Objects using Webi Reports with BICS connection to BEX Queries and universes, as well as other non-SAP tools like MS Power BI.
- Experience in SAP Data Migration using LSMW for ECC 6.0 is a plus.
- Proficient in SQL Server Transact-SQL (PL/SQL) and SQL Server Management Studio, including Job Agent monitoring and stored procedures.
Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze enhancement requests and transform them into solution designs that align with development standards.
- Perform development and testing tasks for larger projects, providing accurate estimates for these phases.
- Monitor the Thermo Fisher Helpdesk queue daily, assign work to team members, and ensure SLA compliance.
- Interact with customers who submit tickets, resolving issues promptly and proposing solutions with effort estimates.
- Adhere to Thermo Fisher Change Control processes for handling change requests.
- Provide daily and weekly status reports for formal review, discussing actions and timelines related to the tasks at hand.
