The SAP SD Consultant manages O2C processes, configures SD areas, supports logistics operations, resolves incidents, and drives module integration while engaging in project lifecycles and testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage End-to-End O2C Processes:
Handle sales order processing, deliveries, billing, and returns with operational excellence. - Configure & Support Core SD Areas:
- Pricing procedures, condition techniques, and tax determination
- Billing types, copy controls, and output determination
- Handle Contract Management:
Work with scheduling agreements, value contracts, and service contracts. - Support Export/Import Processes:
Manage export documentation, Incoterms, shipping, and compliance requirements. - Drive Cross-Module Integration:
Integrate SAP SD with FI (Accounts Receivable), MM (Procurement), and logistics modules. - Manage Logistics Execution:
Oversee shipping, transportation, route determination, and delivery scheduling. - Resolve Issues & Support Operations:
Analyse and resolve production incidents and service tickets (L2/L3 support). - Participate in Project Lifecycle:
Engage in requirement gathering, functional specification (FS) development, and solution design. - Conduct Testing:
Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT). - Prepare Documentation:
Create and maintain BRD, FS, test scripts, and knowledge transfer (KT) documents.
Educational Qualification & Exp.
Bachelor’s degree in:
- Engineering / Information Technology / Commerce / Business Administration
- Relevant SAP training or certification is an advantage
- 3–4 years of hands-on experience in SAP SD module
- At least 1 end-to-end implementation or support project experience
- Experience with incident management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira)
