The Release Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive Agile best practices and continuous improvement across the organization.What You'll Bring:
Position Title: Release Manager
Location: Bangalore
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Agile processes for Scrum and Kanban teams to ensure timely and quality delivery of complex solutions.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Testing, Operations, Product Management, and Release Train Engineers (RTE) to align on delivery goals.
- Drive the Scaled Agile SAFe Program Increment (PI) and Agile Release Train (ART) planning and execution.
- Manage daily standups, sprint planning, and change management activities.
- Provide epic-level delivery schedules and roadmap alignment to stakeholders.
- Promote the delivery of Minimal Viable Products (MVPs) to accelerate value realization.
- Track and report milestones and change management status to leadership.
- Identify and manage risks and dependencies across internal and external teams.
- Facilitate Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings to address release scope and roadblocks.
- Maintain and document release plans, procedures, dependencies, and notifications.
- Oversee promotion of changes across environments and communicate release details to business units.
- Champion Agile and JIRA adoption for process improvement and innovation.
- Advocate for continuous improvement and lead implementation of new practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Release Management and Scrum Master roles.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or PMI-ACP certification.
- Experience with CI/CD, DevOps or DevSecOps environments.
- Proficiency in user story mapping and Scaled Agile SAFe framework.
- Strong command of Atlassian tools (JIRA, ServiceNow, Salesforce, Confluence).
- Formal training in project management preferred.
- Advanced understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive task completion.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAFe certification.
- Experience with JIRA Portfolio or JIRA Align.
