Role Description :
Acts as an enabler for the effective functioning of a software development team using Agile methodologies. Coaches and mentors the Scrum Team(s), removing barriers to successful implementation and enabling a continued focus on the task at hand. Facilitates scrum and agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Identifies and reports progress via appropriate metrics.
Summary:
As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for enabling the effective functioning of a software development team using Agile methodologies. Your typical day will involve coaching and mentoring the Scrum Team(s), facilitating scrum and agile ceremonies, and identifying and reporting progress via appropriate metrics.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Coach and mentor the Scrum Team(s), removing barriers to successful implementation and enabling a continued focus on the task at hand.
- Facilitate scrum and agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Identify and report progress via appropriate metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Continuously improve team performance by identifying areas of improvement and implementing solutions.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience in Agile Project Management.
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and other Agile tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and facilitation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Agile Project Management
Good to have skills:
- The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science, engineering, or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering successful Agile projects.
Work Location: Guindy, Chennai (3 days WFO)
Work Timings: 2-11 PM IST
