As a Senior Associate SDET, you will develop automation tests, handle system integrations, manage cloud applications, and ensure code security, emphasizing CI/CD processes and innovative solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field.
- A mix of 5+ years in software development and automation test development.
- Experience with system integrations and administrative platforms.
- Experience with cloud-based applications and upgrades.
- Experience with microservices based architecture.
- Ability to automate routine tasks in CI/CD and Cloud.
- Able to adapt to new technologies with a test-driven development mindset.
- Capable of assessing a project's need for testing independently and knowing where the limitations of automated testing lie.
- Forward thinking and able to create comprehensive unit testing with all development.
- Knowledge and experience in Git, keen-eye to reviewing coworkers pull requests.
- Production support experience with outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Capable of designing and implementing complex solutions with technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JAVA, NodeJS, React, Spring Boot, Python, Ruby, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience designing automated test case suites with Ruby based framework Watir, Selenium Java, or other similar languages
- Experience designing componentized designs including microservice-based architectures, leveraging containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and cloud services to build modern cloud first solutions
- Experience with event streaming technologies like Apache Kafka, web service protocols like SOAP, REST and data formats like JSON, AVRO and XML
- Experience with build tools (Gradle, Maven, SBT, NPM or others)
- Experience in using and monitoring code security software such as Snyk and SonarQube, driven to maintain a safe and secure code environment.
