About the Role:
The SEC Specialist II will be a key contributor in providing support for the timely preparation of quarterly and annual SEC filings in accordance with US GAAP and SEC requirements, as well as assisting with corporate sustainability reporting and compliance. The role focuses on two keys areas:
1) supporting the preparation of the filing of Forms 10-Q and 10-K in alignment with US GAAP and SEC standards, and
2) supporting accounting-related Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) data management, including collection, analysis, and reporting to meet regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in public accounting and financial reporting, strong analytical skills, and experience with data collection. Knowledge of sustainability performance reporting and an understanding of the intersection between financial assurance and ESG reporting is preferred.
What You’ll Do:
Prepare supporting documentation, tie out and filing of Forms 10-Q quarterly reports, Form 10-K annual reports including preparation of the financial statements, related footnotes, and Management’s Discussion and Analysis.
Assist in various reporting projects (i.e. quarterly earnings press release process, proxy statements, etc.)
Lead the collection, validation, and reconciliation of accounting-related ESG data for inclusion in sustainability reporting for annual and irterim reporting cycles.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary financial and non-financial data for reporting purposes.
Assist in ESG assurance projects, working with internal and external auditors to provide necessary documentation, explanations, and support for ESG data and disclosures.
Participate in ad-hoc projects as assigned.
What You’ll Need:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proficiency in financial reporting software and advanced Excel skills.
Experience with NetSuite, Workiva, and Watershed is preferable.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial and ESG concepts clearly.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Shift Timing : 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST
