Job Summary

As part of eCrew - Real Estate, Facilities and Administration, you will be responsible for supporting safe, efficient, associate-centric, and cost-effective transport and travel operations for Walmart Global Tech India. The role will focus on managing daily transport operations, employee travel support, vendor coordination, service quality, compliance, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders, transport and travel partners, finance, security, procurement, and business teams to ensure seamless service delivery. The role requires strong operational discipline, stakeholder management, vendor governance, and the ability to drive data-led improvements through dashboards, automation, and digital tools.

The team enables best-in-class workplace services, including transportation, food facilities, travel, housekeeping, electromechanical services, mobile/data connectivity, and other related services.

What You Will Do
  • Manage day-to-day employee transport operations, including cab deployment, route planning, shift-based movement, vendor coordination, exception handling, and associate escalations.
  • Oversee business travel support, including coordination with travel partners, policy adherence, booking support, reconciliation, associate guidance, and resolution of travel-related issues.
  • Lead transport and travel vendors to ensure service levels are delivered as per agreed contracts, including adherence to SLA, safety, compliance, billing, and operational standards.
  • Monitor service quality through audits, compliance reviews, dashboards, operational trackers, and periodic performance reviews; identify gaps and work with vendors to close deviations.
  • Partner with business teams and internal stakeholders to understand transport and travel requirements, support new business needs, and ensure timely operational readiness.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across transport and travel operations, including process simplification, cost optimization, automation, safety enhancements, associate communication, and improved user experience.
  • Support implementation and adoption of digital tools, dashboards, and automation solutions for transport, travel, compliance tracking, reporting, and vendor governance.
  • Ensure timely validation of vendor invoices, operational data, MIS reports, SLA performance, penalty calculations, and supporting documentation in coordination with Finance and Procurement teams.
  • Maintain transport and travel SOPs, escalation matrices, audit records, compliance documents, and communication templates for smooth operations and governance.
What You Will Bring
  • Bachelor degree or Master degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Operations, Travel Management, Logistics, or a related field, with 8+ years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Proven experience in managing transport, travel, facilities operations, vendors, and service partners in a large corporate environment.
  • Experience in managing large-scale employee transport operations, preferably for high-volume office locations, including vendor operations, cab deployment, compliance, safety, and associate experience.
  • Working knowledge of corporate travel operations, travel policies, booking support, expense coordination, and travel partner governance.
  • Strong understanding of SLA management, vendor scorecards, service audits, incident tracking, billing validation, and corrective action planning.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to coordinate across business teams, vendors, associates, finance, procurement, security, and leadership stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and modern collaboration platforms such as Microsoft Teams.
  • Exposure to transport technology platforms, travel management tools, dashboards, automation, AI-enabled facility management tools, or reporting systems will be an added advantage.
