Come and join the Risk & Compliance team in Operations & Technology as we work to transform Thomson Reuters into a content-driven technology company.

With the transformation, comes new and emerging risks. We are looking for curious, collaborative, and driven risk professionals who can partner with all TR stakeholders to help us make more informed decisions that balance risk and reward. These professionals will help foster a risk management culture, support the establishment of new processes, and ensure the delivery of existing core processes designed to evaluate and manage risks, as well as address regulatory compliance aspects associated with the use of technology, cyber and information security, product engineering, and data usage in the modern era.

About The Role
In this opportunity as a Manager, Technology Risk and Compliance, you will:
Conduct risk assessments and support issue and finding review, evaluating action plans and risk mitigation efforts.

  • Act as a subject matter expert in relation to technology risk in its broad understanding, proactively identifying issues and control failures, as well as general areas of improvement within the existing processes.

  • Support the development of technology risk reporting across Thomson Reuters, leveraging data in alignment with industry standards and relevant frameworks.

  • Support development and maintenance of technology compliance programs aligned to industry and regulatory standards.

  • Work closely with members of the broader Risk & Compliance, CIO, CISO, Product Engineering, Data & Analytics, Internal Audit, and business functions, to further strengthen the Firm's risk management practices and drive enterprise framework adoption.

  • Support the development and implementation of the technology and cyber risk framework as it evolves to meet business needs, changes across the threat landscape, regulatory and legal developments and to keep pace with industry best practices.

About You

  • You are a technologist at heart with solid understanding of various concepts across infrastructure and application design.

  • You have a minimum of 8 years relevant work experience, preferably in a regulated industry.

  • You have solid knowledge of industry frameworks, standards, and practices such as: COBIT, ITIL, ISO, NIST etc.

  • You are aware of evolving technology regulations in global markets.
