Avantor is looking for a dynamic, forward-thinking, and experienced analyst in maintaining our liquidity, control environment, and daily cash operations.
This role will be a full-time position based out of our Coimbatore office. Sr Treasury Analyst manages daily treasury operations, oversees cash management, and analyzes financial data to support strategic financial decisions. They are responsible for tasks such as cash flow forecasting, bank account administration, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
What we’re looking for
- Bachelors/master’s in accounting with concentration in Finance.
- Experience in Banking, Treasury or Finance related roles.
Experience & Skills:
- Accurate numerical ability and attention to details
- Manual payment experience in existing roles
- Strong understanding of cash accounting concepts and Treasury processes
- Analytical and problem-solving experience
How you will thrive and create an impact
- Global Responsibilities:
- Manage Global payments on a daily basis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Oversee global liquidity management to optimize cash positions across entities.
- Initiate and process manual wire transfers for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Consolidate data and provide support for global cash forecasting.
- Handle international bank account management, including openings, closures, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with banks to resolve day-to-day operational challenges for Global entities.
- Administer bank guarantees and letters of credit for Global operations.
- Lead and execute the global netting process to streamline intercompany settlements.
- Support monthly and quarterly treasury book closures, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Define reporting requirements, build and maintain reports, and perform treasury data analysis.
- Additional Responsibilities.
- Direct and indirect responsibilities may include special corporate treasury project work and acting as sole backup for another Corporate Treasury Analyst.
- Work closely with onshore cash management team.
