Job Description:
Data Processing & Standardization:
•Work with BCC Postal Standardization tools to clean and standardize address data (handle junk items, backdoor entries, address field normalization).
•Perform data enrichment processes including zip code validation and standardization.
•Run address files through internal software for processing and analysis.
Monthly Address File Management:
•Collaborate with internal teams to analyze monthly address files.
•Update fields and maintain control address data for clients.
•Support both regional and national accounts in address standardization and data quality assurance.
•Ensure data is ready for client deliverables and internal usage.
Rankers & Querying:
•Use tools such as Arc GIS, MicroStrategy for querying and reporting on geographic and market data.
•Filter and analyze client geography data to target single-family homes and other specific market segments.
•Generate pre-canned reports for the sales team on a quarterly basis.
Standardized skillset::
•Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge, specifically Excel and Access
•Preferred familiarity or experience with Nielsen, Claritas, MRI/Simmons, Mosaic/PRIZM/Personicx Segmentation, ArcGIS, BCC, or other postal software programs
•Preferred experience working with large data sets and knowledge of SQL (not mandatory)
•Strong mathematical skills and working knowledge of statistical methods
•Strong problem-solving skills, independent judgment, and ability to work under self-direction
•Highly detail-oriented and organized; skilled at identifying and spotting trends in data sets
•Excellent oral and written communication skills
•Critical thinker with the ability to find stories within data and translate insights into marketing and sales strategies
