Senior Backend Developer (11 Months Contract)

As a Senior Backend Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining robust backend services that power our data‑driven product ecosystem. You will work across Azure cloud services, diverse data sources, and ingestion pipelines to ensure reliable data processing and high system performance. You will also collaborate with engineering, data, and product teams to deliver scalable cloud‑based solutions, while applying DevOps best practices to support efficient deployment and integration workflows.

Your key responsibilities as a Senior Backend Application Developer will include:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining backend services and APIs using C# and complementary languages to support scalable and robust application architectures.

• Integrating and managing data from diverse sources such as Azure services, FTP locations, databases, and client APIs to ensure consistent data availability.
• Implementing data ingestion workflows for formats including flat files, Excel, and structured database transfers to support downstream processing.
• Collaborating with cross‑functional engineering and data management teams to build resilient cloud‑based solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Applying DevOps practices including version control, YAML‑based CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment to streamline development and release cycles.
• Troubleshooting and optimizing backend applications to maintain high standards of performance, scalability, and reliability.

You will need the following experience and skills to join us as a Senior Backend Application Developer:

• You must have extensive experience designing and developing backend applications using C#, ASP.Net, and object‑oriented programming principles.
• You will bring strong expertise in SQL, including writing advanced queries, stored procedures, and views for complex data operations.
• You should have hands‑on experience with Azure cloud technologies such as Azure Functions, web apps, and PaaS databases.
• You will be confident working with data ingestion pipelines across sources like Email, HostedFTP, Client FTP, and client APIs secured with passcodes.
• You must have strong familiarity with Git repositories and DevOps practices, including working with YAML pipelines for CI/CD execution.
